Some LU blades include a red Teflon coating that helps reduce friction, heat build-up, and gumming -- which prolongs the life of the blade.

The Freud 12-Inch 60-tooth combination saw blade features four alternate top bevel teeth and a square raker-Tooth per section that lets you cut hardwoods and softwoods with a smooth, clean edge. The thick MicroGrain carbide tips allow for more cuts between sharpening, and the non-stick Perma-Shield coating reduces gumming, rusting, and corrosion. The blade features a 1-inch arbor and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
